Using the HIV Rev-dependent cell line, REV-CEM-GFP/Luc, to screen LIMK inhibitors researchers recently discovered the small molecule R10015. R10015 blocks HIV DNA synthesis, nuclear entry, and HIV release by inhibiting LIMK activity.
